ELEVIT Greek Cooperation of Biomedical Technology organised the 8th Panhellenic Conference of Biomedical Technology, which took place in Athens, Greece from 9 to 10 May, 2019. With an exciting line up of keynote speakers, entrepreneurs and presenters from leading universities and research communities, the 8th Panhellenic Conference of Biomedical Technology was a place for leading researchers and experts to expose their views on key issues in the Biomedical Technology field.
More than 300 people attended the event and were informed about the DS LEISURE project and the e-Training platform through a poster presentation entitled "Development of digital games to increase Autonomy and independent living of persons with Down Syndrome". Additionally, an exhibitor booth was set where research associates of the Medical Physics Laboratory informed attendants about the DS LEISURE project as well as other software and games which have developed from the Medical Physics Lab and are addressed to elderly people and other vulnerable groups.
